Akash Deb is a former nationally ranked junior tennis player from India and currently serves as a Junior Relationship Manager at AddedEducation, where he works with aspiring student-athletes and their families exploring pathways to global universities through sport and academics. As a competitive junior, he was ranked No. 2 in Assam across multiple age groups, reached the Top 20 in India (U-16) and Top 30 (U-18), and competed at premier national events such as the Fenesta National Championships and Mumbai Nationals, reaching the semifinals, while achieving a career-high UTR of 11. Alongside his work in sports and education, Akash has experience in financial data and research through his work with Morningstar and exposure to platforms like PitchBook. He is also the creator and co-founder of the podcast Broke But Hopeful, where he built the concept and platform to discuss careers, finance, and real-world opportunities for young professionals. Combining his experience as a competitive athlete, analyst, and content creator, Akash is passionate about helping the next generation of student-athletes turn their sporting ambitions into meaningful academic and career opportunities.
