I am the Lead Counselor for Sports at AddedEducation and I am based in Wilmington, NC. I began my career in Education and Counseling in 2016 and since then, I have guided and advised numerous student-athletes in strengthening their academic portfolios, selecting the right-fit majors, and expanding their horizon to ultimately select the best fit university. I have also mentored many student-athletes, ultimately helping them reflect on their short term goals and how those align with their long term goals. Having been a collegiate student-athlete, I can say that my own personal experiences have helped shape my approach and have given me direct insight into how I can best support aspiring student-athletes walk through the same journey I did.
I graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Post my undergraduate degree, I completed my Master of Arts degree in Sports Management at London Metropolitan University.
Over the past couple of years I have worked directly with a diverse set of student-athletes, helping them find success in, and out, of the classroom. I have mentored and advised student-athletes during critical times in their educational journey, helping them discover their academic interests within various backgrounds and majors — including exercise science, psychology, criminal justice, business & accounting, nursing, computer science, and engineering. My experiences over the years have not only given me the privilege of working within different spheres of a student-athletes journey, but has allowed me the opportunity to truly make a difference in the lives of these student-athletes through conversations about academics, athletics and personal matters.
No matter your interests or experience, I am excited to join you on this journey, providing the support and guidance you need to secure a place at your best-fit college or university. I look forward to working closely with you!
