Linda Ye is an accomplished and versatile music specialist based in Boston, Massachusetts. She currently attends Harvard College and Berklee College of Music, and she is one of only four students of her year to be selected for this unique dual-degree program. A native of San Francisco, Linda is fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese and visits China regularly, enabling her to establish a global perspective and an understanding of different cultures.

With over 12 years of experience in music, Linda’s career is marked by numerous high-profile performances and collaborations. She was a proud member of the five-time GRAMMY Award-winning San Francisco Girls Chorus for 12 years, where she not only honed her vocal skills but also served as section leader on two occasions. Her musical journey includes training under the mentorship of GRAMMY Award-winning mezzo-soprano Kelley O’Connor and singing in notable productions, such as the San Francisco Opera’s 2017 production of Turandot.

Linda has shared the stage with legendary musicians like Bobby McFerrin, and she has been featured in numerous prestigious venues, including San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall since 2013. Her talents have taken her to various performance collaborations, such as the Santa Fe Opera, Opera Parallele, and she has even toured internationally, performing in Hawai’i in 2022 and South Africa in 2024. Linda’s notable performances also include singing for Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi and being invited to perform at Senator Dianne Feinstein’s Memorial Service.

In addition to her performance career, Linda is a skilled composer and arranger, and is trained in producing music through ProTools. She is also proficient in conducting as she currently serves as the Acapella Conductor for the Radcliffe Choral Society at Harvard University, a 60-voice soprano-alto choral ensemble with a storied history dating back to 1899.

Linda’s musical fluency extends beyond vocal performance. She sings in six languages—Italian, French, German, Spanish, Latin, and English—and plays a wide range of instruments, including piano, viola, violin, guitar, flute, clarinet, recorder, harmonica, and trumpet. She has a strong foundation in music theory, and is fluent in counterpoint, chord progressions, and musical analysis. She is also able to read multiple forms of musical notation, including staff notation, Roman numeral notation, lead sheet notation, and the Nashville Number System.

With a passion for music education and leadership, Linda continues to inspire others through her roles as both a performer and educator, bridging classical and contemporary traditions with a deeply personal touch. Using her 12 years of experience, Linda hopes to use her expertise to guide families to find success in pursuing music as well.
