Gayatri Degan is a creative powerhouse with a flair for storytelling across mediums. A multidisciplinary artist and designer, she brings a sharp, creative edge to everything from UX and graphic design to branding, digital illustration, and animation. Whether she’s shaping the identity of a luxury wellness brand, crafting a slick interface for a hospitality startup, or collaborating with fellow artists, Gayatri blends aesthetic sensibility with strategic insight.

With a BA from Sarah Lawrence College, where she focused in art history and animation, her work is rooted in rich visual theory and fuelled by her love for experimentation. Her consultancy work spans the B2B and B2C spectrum—partnering with non-profits, corporates, and luxury brands alike. Her growing client list includes everyone from visionary restaurateurs and boutique hotels to uber luxury wellness platforms and independent artists. Known for her playful-yet-polished aesthetic and ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution, Gayatri is equal parts creative visionary and hands-on maker. She is currently gearing up to launch Studio Gayo— a creative studio which offers end-to-end services in creative direction, branding, concept development, digital and UX design, and illustration.

Previous roles include: Creative Director at The HVN, London Marketing & Creative Lead at Volonté, London Graphic and UX Design Lead for Amaraanth, Goa And an early stint with Pundole’s Fine Arts, one of India’s leading art auction houses Having experienced first-hand the challenges of applying to college without adequate guidance or resources for art, Gayatri now works as an Art Specialist at Added Education to bridge that gap for others. She is deeply committed to helping young artists and designers tap into their full potential through mentorship, portfolio reviews, and tailored consultancy. She offers practical support to emerging creatives, equipping them with the tools and confidence they need to thrive and realise their own creative goals.
